Tree Farms in Full Swing + Thanksgiving Week Ahead

All weekend  ·  Bouquet Canyon & beyond

Choose-and-cut & pre-cut Thanksgiving: Thursday, Nov 26

Tree farm season is at its peak: Gilchrist Farm on Bouquet Canyon Road sells fresh-cut trees alongside its holiday farm animals, and Frosty's Forest on Orchard Village Road remains one of Southern California's rare choose-and-cut Monterey pine forests. Pick your tree this weekend and the stand will still be green and fresh by Christmas. Meanwhile, Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26: this is the weekend to plan your turkey trot, reserve your community dinner seats, and join the valley's food drives.
