SCV Quilt Guild Quilt Show: Where Quilts and Friendships Bloom
Saturday & Sunday, Oct 24-25 · SCV Senior Center (Bella Vida), 27180 Golden Valley Rd
The Santa Clarita Valley Quilt Guild presents "Where Quilts and Friendships Bloom" over both Saturday and Sunday at the SCV Senior Center (Bella Vida) on Golden Valley Road. Stunning handmade quilts from local guild members fill the halls, with live demonstrations, vendor booths, and a silent auction all weekend. It is a gorgeous autumn tradition that showcases real local craftsmanship, and it makes a perfect low-key Saturday or Sunday outing for the whole family.
Finish The Ride & Finish The Run Halloween Costume Ride & Race
Sunday, Oct 25 · West Creek Park
The valley's Halloween-themed fundraiser returns to West Creek Park on Sunday morning, hosted by Streets Are For Everyone. Choose 12, 25, or 62-mile rides or the 5K/10K costume run and walk, all starting from the park. Costumes are half the fun here, community safety is the cause, and October canyon weather makes it one of the most pleasant rides of the year. Register ahead; Sam's full guide covers routes, start times, and parking.
Candlelight: Coldplay vs. Imagine Dragons
Sunday, Oct 25 · 6:00 PM · Hyatt Regency Valencia
The popular Candlelight series returns to the Hyatt Regency Valencia at 24500 Town Center Drive with a 6:00 PM performance of Coldplay vs. Imagine Dragons, played by a live string quartet under hundreds of flickering candles. It is a genuinely stunning way to hear stadium anthems up close, and a date night that does not require driving to Los Angeles. Both Candlelight evenings tend to sell out, so grab seats early.
Candlelight: Halloween Classics
Sunday, Oct 25 · 8:15 PM · Hyatt Regency Valencia
Halloween week would not be complete without the Candlelight: Halloween Classics evening at 8:15 PM, back at the Hyatt Regency Valencia for a second show on the same night. The string quartet performs spooky film favorites bathed in candlelight, a moody, atmospheric seasonal treat right in the heart of Valencia. Book both shows back to back and make it a full evening, or pick the one that fits your night.
Fright Fest & the Haunted Jailhouse Watch
Friday-Sunday · Six Flags Magic Mountain & the SCV Sheriff's Station
Halloween night is one week out, and the valley is in full spook. Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain runs its Friday-Sunday nights through November 1, with the family-friendly daytime Tricks and Treats on weekends for younger kids. And the local tradition everyone asks about, the Haunted Jailhouse and Halloween Carnival at the SCV Sheriff's Station, has been announced for 2026 with a suggested $5 donation supporting the Boys & Girls Club. The exact date was still being finalized in the last update, so follow the SCV Sheriff's Foundation for the confirmation and check the fall events guide, which Sam is updating as dates land.
Gilchrist Farm Harvest Festival & Pumpkin Patch
Saturday & Sunday · 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM · Bouquet Canyon
Gilchrist Farm keeps its full festival weekends rolling through November 1, and this is the next-to-last one of the season. Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM the Bouquet Canyon farm fills with live music, food, horseback riding, archery, pig races, farm-animal visits, and gemstone mining, with the pumpkin patch at the center of it all. Admission and parking are free. With Halloween a week away, this is a great weekend to load up on pumpkins and squeeze in one more hayride before the season ends.
